- I got a job!!! Its not a prestigious or cushy or fancy job, but it is a job nonetheless. I work at Highland Market which is a store/food place open 24 hours right across from my dorm. After my first shift at 6 AM on Saturday morning stocking shelves in a refrigerator for 5 hours, I was pretty much ready to quit. Cause maybe no job is worth that. But...I persevered and after a 7 hour shift on Monday night in the deli, I actually decided I might like my job. I got to hang out with fun people, make a bunch of sandwiches, and even got to cook on the grill by myself =) For now, it will do.
- I also got into Eller Ambassadors! Which you probably know from Facebook. Eller Ambassadors is kind of an exclusive club that you have to apply and interview to be a part of. They are the people that represent Eller, help recruit, help with professional admissions, and give tours of the college. I'm sooooooo excited that I get to be a part of it!!! (along with a couple of my friends that live in my dorm) Orientation on Monday =)
- My sisters visited me!! Which was lovely. However, its a very good thing that Megan and Nicole did not require a very exciting, activity filled visit, because I'm afraid I was really very unentertaining. I guess when you spend all of your time doing school, work, homework, sleep, repeat, it's hard to think of fun things to occupy extra time because you never have any. However, I hope they still had a lovely time and I'm very very thankful for the baked goodds (thanks Mommy) and carpet sweeper they brought me. (I needed a carpet sweeper because my floor is dirty and the vacuum downstairs is loud and heavy and old and smelly.)

A Little Catching Up
This past week or so I have had quite a lot to write about and I've told myself that I should blog about everyday, but I just never got around to it. So now there is just too much to say to write extensively about my entire very busy life. Therefore....I will just highlight the most important stuff.

You've had many accomplishments at college in such a short time. Good job, Hannah!
ReplyDeleteHang in there with the job. There is a lot of variety in that type of store, you will learn a lot of different skills. Thanks for giving us a window into your like in Tucson.
