Movie Moment

You know that moment that happens in movies and cartoons when a character says something completely confusing or absurd and everyone becomes silent and the only noise is the animated eye-blinking of some especially large-eyed character?  That moment happened in my New Media class yesterday.  My professor was explaining what our in class final will consist of and was discussing how we will be required to "regurgitate" the information we have been taught throughout the past semester.  We were following along pretty well until he proceeded to make a comment about "the little penguins inside of us doing their job," or something like that.  And we all went silent; because penguins has nothing to do with the class and we didn't understand our own relation to penguins.  He seemed to notice our silent, confused eyes blinking at him and then explained that penguins have the habit of chewing up food for their young and then regurgitating it for them to eat.  Which was, apparently, what he planned on us doing.  His explanation led to some loud, uncontrolled laughter before we continued talking about the final.  It was just a strange moment I thought I should share, and while it doesn't sound quite as good written out as it is my mind, I'm hoping you were able to somewhat picture the hilarious moment.

As a side note, Thanksgiving was amazing.  I got to eat good food, see my friends, family, and church family and just relax (somewhat at least) for a few days.  I'm soooo much looking forward to winter break aside from making the drive home again.  But its worth it =)
