Santa Monica Summer Project!!!

It is finally time for me to embark on my trip to Santa Monica for an 8-week mission with Campus Crusade for Christ, therefore, for the next couple months I will be dedicating my blog to information about what God is doing through our team!  God has amazingly provided all of the funds to pay for my trip ($2800!!!!) and I am so thankful for everyone that took the opportunity to offer support! Tomorrow,  I will be leaving for Mesa, Arizona where I will meet up with 3 other girls going on Project, and on Thursday morning we will leave for Santa Monica, CA.  It sounds like the first week or so will mostly be dedicated to training both for the mission and my job at a children's day camp, but I will know more once we arrive.  I am both excited and nervous for the rest of the summer.  Although Santa Monica is nothing close to an international mission, it is still a completely new place with new people, a new job, and new experiences.  I am trusting that God will take complete control :).  I hope that you will all pray for safe travels to California and God's guidance as this adventure begins!
