I feel bad that I haven't written anything in so long. After I wait a while everything starts to blur together and then I'm even more unmotivated to write because so many things have passed and I can't remember them all. This semester is going by really fast and really slow at the same time. This week I started my first round of tests, all three in my business classes. My accounting 210 class is one of the most failed classes at the UA and my teacher was pretty intimidating about the test, so I studied pretty hard. Miraculously, despite a 60 minute test of 25 somewhat time consuming questions, I managed to ace it. Literally. I got 100 %. And I was pretty excited. I like telling my family about my grades because they are usually proud of me. However, I try to not tell other people in my classes when I do so well because then they just get mad and it makes me feel guilty for doing well which is kinda sucky. So I will celebrate quietly :) I don't know the results of my other two tests yet as Ethics tests will probably take longer to be graded and my Stats test is tomorrow. Hopefully they go well too though!
A little strangely, I have been feeling a little more homesick this semester than usual. I keep hoping it is almost time for a visit, and then I realize I still have over a month until Spring Break. Alas, I hope it passes quickly.
My official application to Eller is due next Tuesday and mine is almost complete! I'm pretty excited to officially be accepted as an Accounting major. Otherwise, my life is full of schoolwork, RA stuff, and CRU. All day, every day. Gotta love it :)
I know exactly what you mean about celebrating quietly...I used to do the same thing. Even now, when I want to brag all over the place about the stuff Delaney can do, I feel kind of guilty, and really, no one wants to hear about it, except her grandparents and sometimes aunties. :) And WOW, great job on 100%. That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou guys can brag to me all you want! I love my family.
