Crazy Insanely Awesome Work of God!

So I thought that hostessing was God's plan for my life.  Just kidding, but I really was so very thankful when I got the job.  Turns out, I think God has even better plans.  I few weeks before I accepted my hostessing position I applied for an Accounting Intern position as a small company I had never even heard of. Last week, I got an email from the CFO of the company inviting me to come in for an interview.  I almost declined but then I realized Accounting Intern > Hostess * 100.  So I interviewed on Monday.  It was a somewhat non-traditional, but interesting and informative interview where I found out a little bit about what the company was looking for and got to tell a lot about myself.  Turns out they hire an intern to work directly with the CFO, and will soon be going through an audit that the intern would be helping with, something not many students get to do before graduating.  Especially Sophomores.  He actually told me they had never hired a Sophomore before.  They would be looking to hire the intern for part time starting now, full time during the summer, and continuing on into next year as long as the company is still doing well.  I though the interview went really well, and in the end he told me he would be done interviewing in the next couple of days and then let me know.  I figured either way it was a good experience, but I might not get the job since it is an actual accounting opportunity and I don't have a huge amount of experience.  BUT I GOT IT!!!!!! Which means, I'm pretty sure I will for sure be staying in Tucson for the summer and have an actual accounting job unless something goes not according to plan.  How could I possibly be so blessed??  The only down side is saying goodbye to the lovely people at the restaurant and taste testing of pies!  I start after Spring Break :)
