Well, I'm moving. Again. In 4 DAYS. It's so soon and so crazy to think that the summer is almost over.
It's bittersweet.
I've loved having the opportunity to live in a house and cook in a kitchen and learn about all of the domestic things that I am actually really bad at. But I haven't really liked the responsibility of paying for rent and bills and working full time. I can definitely say that I am thankful for my job as an RA and am going to enjoy my last few years of college before entering the real world. I'm not quite ready for that yet.
Strangely, I am looking forward to moving back into the dorms. Into the small rooms with community bathrooms and no kitchen of my own. Even though its not a perfectly ideal living situation, its the one I've become accustomed to and it almost feels like going home.
As least that's what I'm saying tonight. Give me one week back in the dorms and I may have changed my mind!
Alas, despite the full week of all day and night training that awaits me, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to going back to my college life. Minus the actual going to school part :P
