Tonight Whitney and I went grocery shopping. We kinda do that alot.
On our way, I passed the Fry's and told her that I thought we would go to Sunflower first for fruit because their fruit is way better and cheaper. And if we were going to buy ice cream we should get it second.
While at Sunflower I chose not to buy apples because I know they are better and cheaper at Trader Joe's.
While at Fry's I almost chose not to buy cereal because I know its cheaper at target.
I'm beginning to understand why my parents always shopped at three different stores! Although the variety in Tucson is much more vast than Kingman. It feels kinda awesome that I'm learning where it's best to buy certain things.
Such an adult :P
Sometimes you have to weigh the cost of gas and time over the pennies saved especially when you live a city

ReplyDeleteAnd then you have kids, and weigh the cost of dragging them to various places vs. the higher cost of just one store vs. your ultimate level of shopping/budget satisfaction...haha.
