*Recap*

The past week has been pretty busy.  I worked extra hours at work to make some more money and has multiple meetings to attend as well as tons of homework to do.  Yesterday, I woke up fairly early to go to a meeting and do homework after staying up super late on Friday night, and after two coffees I still felt like it was 8 am when I got to work at 5.  This morning I had to wake myself up early again to work on an essay and math project :/ Yuck.

On Tuesday night, the Eller Ambassadors hosted Eller Preview night which was an opportunity for high school seniors to visit and tour Eller as well as attend a few different workshops to learn about the different Eller majors as well as opportunities to study abroad.  My role was fairly minimal since I'm a new member (mingling with students, following at the back of tour groups, and talking about a few powerpoint slides) but it was pretty fun any way and a great experience to learn more about Eller and what ambassadors do.  One of the girls that I met at FBLA nationals last summer actually attended and I was really excited to get to see her!  This Tuesday, I have my test over the tour guide to see if I can remember all of the facts about Eller myself :)

I think I mentioned before that I have been attending a christian group called Cru on Wednesday nights.  I am starting to like it more and more and got to take part in a prayer and worship bonfire on Friday night with some of my friends from my dorm.  It was really quite lovely :)  Even better, I'm going to get an opportunity to be a part of their worship band which they are trying to expand! I'm really excited because I miss singing at youth and being a part of the team a lot.  Its another commitment to add to my already busy schedule, but one I'm really excited about and happy to make time for.  I won't be starting for a week or two, but I'll update about how its going once I do.

Now, I'm off to work again to cover someone's shift and make extra money.  I just can't wait for Thanksgiving!

  1. Wow, Hannah. You just keep getting involved in so many things but I'm not really surprised. You've always handled it well!

  2. Thanks for the updates of your activities and your life. It is nice to know what you are doing and how college life is for you. We were working on the Thanksgiving menu tonight in the airport. Looks like similar to normal. We will remember rice for you.
