Another Lovely California Day

Yesterday was another beautiful day in Santa Monica.  Shannon and I spent most of the day together re-doing all of the things we used to do last summer.  We shopped for a few hours on the Promenade, had delicious coffee at Coffee Bean and salads at Panera (my very favorite places here).  Then we did some more browsing at the beach side shops and had paninis at a super tasty little place on Main Street.  In the evening, we got to watch part of the staff vs. student summer project softball game and meet some more of the summer project students!  Then, of course, we had to go to our favorite frozen yogurt place, Menchies.  It was sooooo nice to get to spend the day together, but made us a little bit sad that we aren't here again this year!  Alas, it is not so.  It's been crazy to see how God is orchestrating everything on this trip.  I know it seems like something small and insignificant to someone as big as God, but I don't know how the timing of every single thing that has happened has been so perfectly placed and thought out, without me doing any actual planning.  How cool to see god work through every little part of my life.
