I think when pretty much every minute of your day is scheduled you can officially say that you're very busy.
I am very busy.
For example, today went a little something like this:
6:45 Wake up, get ready, work for an hour before class
Go to class...
Go to office hours...
Interview someone at the admissions office for a group project...
Eat really fast and check email...
Meet with RA boss...
Go shopping for Eller program...
Check email and make sure homework for tomorrow is done...
Go to work for another hour...
Meet with someone from CRU off campus...
Go to CRU...
Knock on residents' door to remind them about Eller program...
Wooooo. By the time I finish it will be 11 or 12 PM and I will be very ready for bed! I've been thinking about how busy I am and how tiring it is sometimes. And at times I get worn down and I wish I could take a break or quit something. But then I remember that I like everything.
I remember that going to class means I'm lucky enough to be getting an accounting degree.
I remember doing RA stuff and going to work means I'm blessed to have 2 jobs.
I remember that I am extremely blessed to be a part of two different organizations that I love and care about.
I remember that my days are full because I have a lot of people who I care about and who care about me that I need to make time to spend time with!
And all of that seems pretty great. So while busy is tiring, busy is also amazingly blessed and good :)
Even though I may have just drank alot of coffee to make it through the day...
I still marvel at how you've grown! You look at the bright side of everything now instead of the dark side. And I imagine you have much more peace and contentment because of it!
