First Day :D

I am in Santa Monica!!!! YAY :) But let me start from the beginning of today...

This morning (very early) we packed four girls and four sets of LOTS OF LUGGAGE in my little car. It was super  tight.  Thankfully, Jesus helped us fit everything with a very full trunk, a large suitcase in the backseat and no leg room.  The seven hour drive wasn't as bad as expected and we made it in pretty good time, even though I might have been a little freaked out at the California traffic when we got close to LA.  Again, we just prayed God would get us here safely with no problems and He definitely did :) 

Santa Monica is gorgeous.  We arrived early enough to walk to the ocean (less than a half hour walk!!) and see the pier which is incredible.  Here is a little idea that really does it no justice...

It's definitely overwhelming being here.  After so much anticipation and waiting, we are finally here!  It's kind of scary and new, but everyone is in the same situation so that is comforting and encouraging.

The motel we are staying at is old but super cute! We kind of have our own little circle and its kind of like living in a village!

All of the rooms are a little bit different with different amounts of people in them.  Mine has two other girls besides me and they seem really nice and awesome like pretty much everyone here.  It's definitely simple, but we will make it homey :)

Tonight we pretty much got to know each other, especially in our action groups which are also our roommates.  Tomorrow we are starting early jumping into things, so we will see what awesome things God has in store!!!
