Last night, I again attended the Gymcats meet versus ASU (Yayyy we won!) with a bunch of CRU people. Some of the guys are really obsessed with the Gymcats and one in particular would cheer and clap when his favorites performed. He managed to catch a shirt when they threw them up in the stands, and we tried to convince him to get it signed when we saw one of the girls outside the stadium after the meet. But he didn't. Afterwards, a bunch of us went to Chili's to eat dinner and celebrate our friend's birthday. Ironically, the Gymcats also went to Chili's and sat pretty close to where we were. So our friend asked the waitress to ask the Gymcats to sign his shirt. She agreed and we watched from afar and the Gymcats signed the shirt while looking around to try to figure out which one of us has sent over the shirt. When they left Chili's be for us, they are smiled and waved. It was pretty cool :P I wouldn't be surprised if there were some stalker pictures taken...

My "I Balance" shirt that somehow still fits... |
This morning, I volunteered with Eller Ambassadors at Ben's Bells, a local Tucson philanthropy. There is actually a pretty cool story behind the bells about a young boy named Ben who died and whose family really started to notice and appreciate little acts of kindness from the the community. The family started Ben's Bells to encourage this kindness and place bells randomly all over the place including sites of disasters such as Virginia Tech. All of the bells and other things they create are made by volunteers. We go to make little flower tokens that are given to every student in 50 schools. We worked together flattening clay, punching out the shapes, smoothing, and making holes in the middle. It was actually pretty fun and though I got a lot of clay all over me I'm really happy we went!

I Love. I want to go make bells too. Maybe next time I go to Tucson. :)
